Have you ever had someone sit you down, look you in the eye and then proceed to scold you on how you are wasting your talent and gift? Point out that the only person/reason/excuse that holds you down isn't the lack of funds, time or interest, but in fact the blame is solely on yourself? Your fear of rejection, failure, humiliation is probably unfounded?
Chances are you have. And it has been your parents that have done so.
However, A did the same to me yesterday.
And something in my head clicked.
Generally, when your parents tell you, your assumption is, "Yeah, well, they're my parents. They'll like anything I do." Kinda along the same lines as the old saying, "Only a face a mother could love."
Today, I told Cheese about it and he basically said the same. And that he had the same problem.
So, enough hemming and hawwing... I finally decided on a website service and am currently populating the galleries. Check it out at laviederose.me.
